The visible unity of the Church is very much needed today.
To the non believer, the Christian church appears fractured, and disassembled.
Christian churchs declare fellowship and brotherhood but cannot practice what is preached.
Instead of harmonious fellowship the churches practice discordant seperatism and instead of fellowship there is
exclusive seperation .
The public witness of the Church declares that the Church cannot conduct itself in unity.
However congregations can choose a different witness. Congregation leaders can direct the
congregation into paths of greater unity and cooperation. Groups within congregations can get involved in collaborative
efforts and programs with other congregations. Individual members can press their clergy for greater cooperation between congregations
of different denominations
